About our unique stargazing cabins
Each luxury glamping cabin boasts a luxurious, spacious interior while still retaining that cosy-cabin feeling.
A sumptuous king-size bed and comfortable seating help you to unwind and relax. The en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower adds real luxury to the space. A well-equipped kitchenette along with dining table and chairs are perfect for indoor dining.
Stunning views across the Blackdown Hills can be seen from inside and outside the cabins.
On each private deck, there is outdoor seating and a vintage roll top bath with hot running water. No need to wait for that water to warm up before you get in. The outdoor baths are well positioned to enjoy the rural views, stunning sunsets and spectacular night skies.
Further outdoor seating and fire pit have been carefully positioned amongst wild flowers and swaying grass to help immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the spectacular sunsets. At night, snuggle around the fire pit and marvel at the stars and planets that can be seen in our dark skies.
Two of our cabins, Perseus and Ursa have private wood fired hot-tubs that are located just outside the cabins where wood to heat the hot tub is included in the price.
Looking after the environment is vital for us at Royal Oak Farm: we have designed and built our off-grid cabins using locally sourced timber; the electricity is generated from our solar panels. As part of our re-wilding project, we have planted numerous trees and scattered wild flower seed all around the farm, encouraging a wide range of wildlife.
