Perseus – Stargazing Cabin with Outdoor Bath

We had the most wonderful weekend at Perseus. The place is absolutely beautiful, and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, they’ve truly thought of everything you might need, and are always happy to go above and beyond (they even helped me find the perfect spot to propose during our stay!). The cabin feels really private and tucked away, which made it such a peaceful place to stay. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, and spending the evening round the campfire looking up at the stars was just perfect. The farm around the cabin gives it so much character too, with fresh produce to enjoy and the sheep, chickens and even a pig! A perfect getaway in every sense.

Fred, Sept 2025

We had the most peaceful and refreshing weekend in Perseus. The cabin was clean, cosy, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay (not to mention the homemade raspberry cake to greet us upon arrival!). Mikey and Emily made us feel very welcome on their farm – they struck the perfect balance of being attentive while giving us space to relax and enjoy. If you’re looking for a quiet escape, a taste of country life, and a place to fully unwind, this is it!

Emily, Sept 2025

It was fantastic – such a highlight at the end of an already gorgeous trip! The cabin has absolutely everything – it’s been so carefully thought out and the setting is beautiful. Mikey and Emily were both so friendly and kind and made us feel like they were old friends – can’t wait to hopefully come and stay again next year! We came as a celebration of our engagement and they were wonderful as helped me organise the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from the flower farm on their land, and left us the tastiest lemon and blackberry cake we’ve ever had. All little touches that just made it so personal.

Jane, April 2025

Thank you Emily and Mikey for a lovely stay in Perseus. The cabin had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. It is in a very beautiful spot, and nice and private, and made for a perfect weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary. We also loved the homemade fruitcake on arrival – delicious!

Inside Our Unique Stargazing Cabin

Bedroom

Perseus’ sumptuous king size bed with huge bed-to-ceiling picture window makes the most of every opportunity to catch sight of a shooting star, and observe the wonderful wildlife and rural views from the comfort of your bed.

Living Space

The well-equipped kitchenette has a gas hob, hot running water, a fridge and all the utensils you need.

The living-eating space has a comfortable seating area and a table and chairs for two, positioned to take in the view from the French windows which open out on to a large grass area and spacious private deck.

The wood burning stove will keep you toasty in the cooler months and on chilly summer nights. We provide a large basket of logs, kindling and fire lighters for your stay. We have additional logs and kindling available to purchase if you require more.

Bathroom

The en-suite shower room is fitted with a large walk-in shower and vanity unit with a sink. A luxury compost loo in the shower room means there’s no need to step outside.

Outside Our Unique Cabin With Outdoor Bath

On the deck and grass area you’ll find everything you need for alfresco cooking and dining, along with seating to relax and watch the stars or take in the view in your own little haven.

The deck also boasts a modern roll top bath with hot running water so that you can enjoy a luxurious soak surrounded by nature and beneath the stars.

Wood-Fired hot tub to relax and unwind after a long day exploring the Jurassic Coast.

Binoculars, stargazing monocular and star maps are provided and the cabin has plenty of cosy, warm blankets to keep you warm after dark.

Deer, pheasants and birds of prey can often be spotted on the farm amongst the native trees, wild flowers and swaying grass. Fantastic bird watching site.

Off-grid

The lighting and fridge are powered entirely from solar energy, with LPG gas for cooking and hot water, making your experience ‘off-grid’.

The site has good 4G coverage but Wifi is not available in the cabin. We invite guests to make the most of being able to switch off and unwind away from the bustle of daily life. The cabins have a usb charging point for recharging phones.
