Thank you for your booking. When making your booking, you are entering into an agreement with us and agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions of use below.
1. Your booking
1.1 We reserve the right to accept or decline bookings at our discretion.
1.2 Your contract with us will begin when booking confirmation is issued.
1.3 We will issue you with booking confirmation as receipt of payment received, plus any further details of balance due (if pre agreed deposit has been granted)
1.4 You as the person booking are responsible for all members of your party.
1.5 You, and all members of your party must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking.
1.6 Children and pets are not permitted to stay at the cabin
1.7 Your credit/debit card will be saved securely on our booking system for the duration of your stay and removed after successful check out. Any additional charges incurred from your stay will be charged to this card.
1.8 Check in is between 4pm and 8pm on the first day of your stay. Late check in is available up until 10.30pm. You must inform us of your planned arrival time prior to your stay so we can arrange for you to be met and checked in.
1.10 Your booking includes membership to Wanderlust Camping Club. To comply with our planning consent our guests must be members Wanderlust Camping Club. This membership is a requirement of our planning consent and is at no extra cost to you. Your name and email address will be passed to Wanderlust Camping Club and retained in line with GDPR requirements at all times.
2. Payment and Cancellation
2.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking (unless agreed with owner prior to booking)
2.2 You may cancel or amend your booking up to 4 weeks before your stay and receive a full refund.
2.3 Bookings altered or cancelled within 4 weeks will only be refunded if we are able to re-let the dates and will be subject to a £50 admin fee.
2.4 In the event of national Covid-19 restrictions which mean you are not able to travel and/or we are not able to host, we will look to find an alternative date for your stay or refund your stay to a credit note to be used within 12 months.
2.5 In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your holiday due to reasons beyond our control, we will do our best to offer you a suitable alternative date or issue a full refund.
3. Smoking
3.1 Smoking is strictly prohibited at Royal Oak Farm. This includes and is not limited to inside the cabin, on the deck, in the bath, in the fire pit area and around the farm.
3.2 We reserve the right to cancel your booking and evict you with immediate effect if this is not complied with.
3.3 Should there be evidence within the premises an additional cleaning charge will be taken from your saved payment card at our discretion.
4. Additional guests, parties, antisocial and illegal activities
4.1 You are not permitted to invite or have additional guests to the farm or your cabin.
4.2 Parties and loud music are strictly prohibited. Please be considerate of other guests on site. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and evict you with immediate effect if this is not complied with.
4.3 You must not use Royal Oak Farm for any illegal or antisocial activity
5. Damages and undue care
5.1 You will be charged for any damages and/or breakages that occur during your stay. We will inform you of the cost and payment will be taken from the card you used to book your stay.
5.2 The cabin, contents and facilities must be kept clean and tidy and left in an acceptable condition on departure. If the cabin requires extra cleaning as a result of undue care, we retain the right to charge an extra cleaning fee.
5.3 If there is any evidence of pets on the farm, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and evict you with immediate effect. An additional charge will be issued for cleaning.
6. Compost loo
6.1 The compost loo must be used in line with the instructions provide.
7. Fire pit and wood burner usage, candles and incense
7.1 The outdoor fire pit and woodburner must be used sensibly, for the use they were intended and with extreme caution. You must fully adhere to the HETAS GLAMPING STOVE SAFETY sheet in the cabin manual.
7.2 The door on the woodburning stove must be kept closed and the stove top and hearth clear at all times.
7.3 Do not dry wet clothing or shoes directly on the stove.
7.4 The stove and fire pit must never be left unattended when lit.
7.5 The outdoor fire pit grill must be cleaned after being used for cooking. Tools are provided. BBQ tools must also be cleaned after use.
7.6 Candles may only be used in the lanterns provided and never left burning when you leave the cabin.
7.7 Incense must not be burnt inside the cabin.
8. Outdoor bath/Wood-fired hot tubs
8.1 We provide, eco friendly bath products suitable for use in the outdoor bath. Please refrain from using your own bubble bath, bath oils and other bath products.
8.2 The consumption of alcohol whilst using the outdoor bath/hot tub is wholly at your own risk.
8.3 Please note, the outdoor baths are located on the decking and are best used during summer months as they only heat to a maximum of 32 degrees celsius.
8.4 Use of the wood-fired hot tubs and the stoves is done so wholly at your own risk. Any damage to these caused by misuse will be charged for.
9. Liability
9.1 We do not accept any liability for injury or death to any member of your party We recommend taking out relevant insurance for your stay.
9.2 We accept no liability for loss, damage or theft of your possessions or vehicle during you stay with us.
9.3 We accept no liability for damages caused by guests to our property.
